International Festival of Indian Classical Arts. It is unique, already having traditions in Lithuania, Festival, which presents classical Indian arts. For 9 years famous classical dance and music maestros from India and artists from Lithuania and neighboring European countries (Poland, Germany, Estonia, Latvia, Italy, France, Netherlands, Belgium), practicing classical Indian arts, are presented for Lithuanian public.
To promote Indian classical arts and strengthen the cultural relationships between India and Lithuania, by inviting and introducing prominent exponents and living legends of classical Indian arts;
To present and encourage non Indian artists studying classical Indian arts from prominent Gurus of the various traditions in India or abroad , giving them opportunity to show there passion and deep interest in Indian Culture;
To popularize Indian culture for even wider audience and eliminate borders between cultures of India and Lithuania, making art more universal, without frontiers, reaching every persons heart.
