Rhythm

Rhythm – like breath or heartbeat – represents continuous time, the flow of life, a constantly repeating cycle. Music and movement are a way to find, return, merge and be in the RHYTHM of the world.

The music and dance project “RITME”/”IN THE RHYTHM” is a synthesis of classical and contemporary art. The artists from India and Lithuania meet on the stage to create and improvise, combining the rhythms of Indian percussion – tabla, jazz improvisations and movements of Indian classical dance.
